Hi! Could you please make sure you're running both PLITCH and the game as an administrator and that you selected the correct trainer version? Once you checked that, please activate the "Activate Resources" cheat once and make sure you gain/spend some of the resource you want to use the resource cheats for before and after activating the specific cheat.
