Runes cheat not working

Every other cheat works for me besides the runes, I’ve tried reading the past answered threads and they are not helpful at resolving this. Help!

Are you playing via steam or msstore?
Did you activate the prepare AFTER loading into your savegame?
Did you activate the rune cheat within your journal, and switched between your inventory after activating the cheat? (You need at least 1 rune)

The rune cheat wont work for me either and it doesnt make that funny noise too idk why its not working im doing all the correct steps.....
