I'm not sure if it occurred while you were testing or anything, but when I used the cheats my game screen would gradually dim until it was completely black. This was a anti-cheat tool used by the games from what I could tell when looking it up. Is there anything that can be done about that? or do we need to figure out other workarounds?

I also had this issue, I bassicly had to do a hard reset on my game... granted I was able to use the money cheat and save my game before the screen went dark but trying to use the cheats that basiclly makes you immune to damage is a no-go

I had this problem only with part 3 (both editions) and this already happened to me without any cheats... so I'm not sure if this is really based on a anticheat or not 😕

today with Vol2 I had the same problem with part 5 (not sure which edition it was, but I only started playing without any cheat created and then locked my PC for a short meeting... after the meeting the whole game was also black (not the frame around)... after this I was able to cheat all parts and played each with cheats active for around 20min without any dark screen... so this is very strange...

however, at least part 4-6 have a protection on the "Zenny", which may was already included in the original games and not now with this edition... so yeah, there is a kind of anticheat, but I didn't noticed anything for health or gauge

The WeMod Team was able to get Vol 2 with 4-6 working with zenny cheats, so no I don't think that's really the case..... BTW it was Battle Network 1 that was having the issues (I was grinding for chips when this happend) 

But if what you said is true it could just be a bug in the game, might have to be patched out we will have to wait and see what Capcom does with the updates there.

even if a value is encrypted, it's still possible to cheat (we've a lot of games with stuff like that), but it's much harder to find... I didn't found a stable way within the time I had to spend on all 6 games of Vol2 and don't think we'll invest so much time until enough users are playing this edition and request the Zenny cheat

however, we tried the mentioned trainer to check if it's working and no, it's not working for us, so I don't think they were able to get a working zenny cheat 😉
