Selected Stockpile Max Amount

Can I know how this works? I select the stockpile and press the button but i don't see the values go up. Is it because I selected the stick stockpile? can this only be used for a certain stockpile?

Did you use an item from the stockpile after activating the cheat?

Not really the stock pile never updated... I was trying to max amount for a serving basket but it didnt work.

I tested the cheat but it seemed to work fine
You need to put the sticks no the ground, select them and activate the cheat.
