is your game up to date? (03.05.06.70899)
Did you use the 03.05.06.70899 version in the trainer?

Yes to both. :-) 
Just tried again, but unless there's something else I'm doing wrong, those options don't work right now.

I tested the cheats but everythings seems to be working properly: https://i.gyazo.com/3939c8ae070646727edfb0288256138d.mp4
Did you start both PLITCH and Steam as an administrator? 
Did you activate the "prepare" AFTER you loaded into your savegame?

After some testing, I figured out that the "storage anywhere" plugin was interfering somehow. With the plugin deactivated, everything works as advertised so to speak.
