The production does not really seem to work, following the guide.
What options do i need to use, to get instant research and instant building, and instant units training?

Did you activate the prepare AFTER loading into your savegame?
Did you follow the steps in the cheat discriptions? Did you spend some research points BEFORE and AFTER activating the cheat? (same for the +production)
We do not have cheats for instant research, instant building and instant units.
