So, I've downloaded Plitch and created an account. I launched Star Traders via Plitch. Nothing happens when I attempt to use the cheats. It appears I should be able to activate with Num 0, then adjust xp with LShift F3, and credits with Num 7. Those keys do nothing, unless I'm on the map... then Num 7 moves the map a bit. I've tried playing with NumLock settings. I've even tried changing the default buttons to other settings in case it was something where the game was grabbing those keystrokes instead. So, am I doing something wrong here? There are really no instructions or documentation, so I can't be sure...
Have you tried changing the hotkeys or activating the cheats manually in the trainer by using your mouse?

The "prepare" is showing as active once the game launches. I've tried changing the hotkeys and tried clicking on them with the mouse with no results.
This code gets executed every time that the player clicks on the LAND button on a planet.
For the stats you first have to open the stats screen, of a crew member and captain.
Otherwise the pointers will not load.

The only setting I can find is Data Execution Prevention. Should I try checking that box and rebooting?

I've landed on a planet after activating the prepare. My modified hotkeys, the original hotkeys, and the mouse do nothing to add the +100 Credits. I then went into the stats for the captain and attempted the +10xp with the same results. I'm only using the free version for now as I wanted to make sure it worked before spending any money.

check for that:
Always run PLITCH with Adminrights and make sure that the entire PLITCH installation folder is whitelisted in your Antivirus.
If your windows user is not an administrator, you have to make sure that also all your game platforms (Steam, Origin, Epic, MS Store, UPlay, Gog or Retail) are running with admin-rights as well. Otherwise, PLITCH will not be able to find the game’s .exe – this mainly has to do with Microsoft’s weird user control ever since Windows Vista. So if your trainer just cannot recognize the game, double that everything was started as ADMIN.

If you raise the attributes of your crew members it works first but when loading a savegame all the stats are back to vanilla, not the level but the att stats like strenght willpower etc.
That wouldnt be a big problem if there would be one main char or something but wwew are talking about a crew of 30 til 50 characters with 6 different attributes so it takes a veeeeeery long time after loading to have your feet back on the ground :)
again thank you for your work and i hope there is will be a way to make those changes persistent in saves.
