Trainers not working for GOG free version

Greetings.  I hope this message finds you well.  I have tried all the various versions of XIII for the recent free release on GOG, but none of them even activate the startup.  Would you be able to look into this please, espcially while it is free on GOG?  TIA

Greetings.  I see that the Steam version of this game has had a recent update.  I did try the trick of using different versions, but the codes didn't even light up, like it didn't see the game running at all.  Thoughts?  Or just wait for the dreaded port list? ;)
