Twelve year old game, so I figure this will go nowhere and that's fine I guess.  Activating any of the codes causes the game to crash.  I have tried launching the game via Steam and then using Plitch....CRASH. I have tried launching the game from Plitch...CRASH. 

The simplest answer is likely the reason why. This version is for the base variation, where as the one I bought on Steam is the Anniversary edition.  Thought I would give it a shot since this is the only version on your platform.

I just got informed that the trainer is up to date.
Please follow the steps in the red hint carefully for the cheats to work :)

I have made sure my game as well as Plitch are updated.  Again, I am using the Anniversary Edition of the game, not the original game.  Even just trying to use the activation crashing the game.  I am not activating until I am in actual game play.  I am not trying to use the infinite ammo code and I do see the warning next to it.
