What do the cheats even do?

I'm confused about the cheats for Nebuchadnezzar. What do they do? It says it will give you more resources but where do they go? Is it just a vanity number? Because it doesn't actually seem functional.

We're already aware of the problem but were not able to find a solution for it :/

Hi. Please, can you help me? Recently Nebuchadnezzar was updated to 1.2.3s and since I am not able to add, to increase money or population any more. Now I am able only to increase,to add 100 resources. I noticed here is only 1.2.0 vesrsion. Do you think this caused this malfunction? What I have to do? Reinstal the game or Plitch? Or will plitch update Nebuchadnezzar? Thank you for your responds, because I got terribly stuck.
