where to enter cheat codes

I'm having an issue with getting cheats to work. Is there a specific screen to ener the prepare for cheats code? When I press Alt F9, do I press them together? Is there something I have to do before or after this before I then start entering the other codes?

First thing you have to do is activating the prepare AFTER loading into your savegame by pressing alt + f1 at the same time. After that you're able to activate the rest of the cheats. You can activate them by pressing the hotkey (you can also change the hotkeys), manually in the trainer or by using our mobile app

That's what I'm doing, but it's not doing anything!
I enter alt+F1 after loading my game, then enter, for eaxmple, alt+F9 for +500 money, and nothing happens. It's the same with all the others too.

Did you spend some money BEFORE and AFTER activating the cheat?
