figured something out. the only way i can play the game without it crashing is to play with it running as administrator and having no overlay of any kind. Plitch does not seem to work if the game is running as administrator. For AMD users i also changed my gaming>graphics settings to default in the app.

Plitch requires administrator rights to function properly, so it's best to always launch both Plitch and the platform you're using (Steam/ Msstore) as an administrator. To do this, right-click on the desktop icon or the .exe file and select 'Run as administrator'.
Are you playing via Steam or Msstore and did you ensure to select the correct version (Steam/ Msstore) in Plitch?
