After using stuff, it doesnt work

I used the Add Yen mod and for some reason, I have to shut the game down and reboot it in order to use the trainer again

Ehm... whut? :o
Are you playing via steam or msstore and did you make sure to select the right version (steam/msstore) in the trainer?
The game is fine after activating the cheat? 
Does the trainer freeze or what exactly happens?

The Steam version of the game doesn't give you Yen. I've tried several times and have done it in different ways to no avail. It doesn't work for either Kiryu (white suit) and Majima (black suit/eyepatch). I am running the currect versions of both the trainer and the game.

Did you gain/spend some money before and after activating the cheat?
We're aware of the issue that the cheat only works for the first char and are still looking for a solution for it
