Launching through Steam and launching through the trainer does not seem to make a difference at all
the trainer is already updated and is matching the game version. Any suggestions?

Hey Altawi, please try to start PLITCH and steam as an administrator (right-click on the desktop icon and the "run as administrator"). Then start the game with the play-button in PLITCH.
