Can't get trainer to work?

I made sure to click on the right gaming platform and DirectX and the trainer will connect, but as soon as I try to use the prepare cheats button I can click it but nothing happens, no highlight or sound, the plitch app isnt frozen either.

Disregard ended up restarting computer and it worked fine

Restarted the app, the game, the PC a few times. Appears to be all set when started but Prepare Cheats does nothing.

Hey DrMetman,
are you playing the correct DLC?
We have separate trainers for the normal game, Gathering Storm DLC and Rise and Fall DLC.
Are you playing via Steam or Epic? DX11 or Dx12?
Did you make sure to select the correct version (SteamDX11/SteamDX12/EpicDX11/EpicDX12) in the trainer?

Yeah I believe so. DX12 and Gathering Storm. I also tried DX11. It makes the sound like it 'connected' once the game starts. Will mess with it again this morning.
