cannot use cheat codes in game

i read the important hint about how to make the cheat code work so it wont crash, but i dont know how to do it. ive tried to activate cheat codes and it crashes my game every time? help?

1.42.0 is already in the trainer.
Which cheat were you trying to use that caused the game to crash?
I think when loading up the game you can select whether you want to play online or private.

cheats are not working, and is crashing the game. I know there was an update and I see it reflects on plitch but codes are still not working. Any ideas?
