Did you activate the prepare AFTER loading into your savegame?
Were you able to activate the cheat but it didn't seem to have a function?

yes i did activate and prepare after loading into my savegame. can activate just no function

I tested the cheat but it seemed to work fine

Have you checked your gamefiles for errors?
Are you using mods?

Yes Correct, same thing happens but doesn't count towards quest or leveling fish? so if it doesn't do either seems to be pointless.
