cheat doesnt work

Hi 

i know its an old game but for some reason none of the cheats work i have the newest update for that version on steam and can activate them but they dont work i am running it on a windows 10

Are you using mods?
Have you checked your gamefiles for errors?

im not using mods or anything other and there doesnt seem to be any error with my files

all of them godmode wouldnt work and the one hit kill either the only one that i think i manage to use was the "empty enemy clip" cheat
