cheats don't work

I used godmod, infinite hunger and happiness, infinite fuel. the game only have like 4 cheats on them. I picked all of them. None of the codes work.
I still died. I ran out of resources even though i activated infinite item. Torch and fire ran out of fuel. Hunger goes down, my sanity dropped, I got killed.
So none of the codes worked. I saw other threads. But none of the OPs responded. I will. So the codes for don't starve does not work. I don't have any mods.
