Cheats dont work in general or zero hour

for both games i have selected the retail and the ea app after but all the cheats are greyd out and cant activate.

please try to run both PLITCH and EA as an administrator (right click on the desktop icon). Then select the correct version in PLITCH and start the game via the "PLAY" button.
Sometimes for Command & Conquer - Generals it can also help to start the .exe of the game as an administrator (EA library < Command & Conquer - Generals < click on the three points at the game < properties < Browse install location < right click on the.exe and start it as an administrator).
