Ok apparently the CoH is the New Steam Version and CoH Legacy edition is the original version of the game.

Were you able to activate the other cheats but they didn't seem to have a function?
Did you read the red hint that the cheats only work for the first player?
Did you activate the cheats AFTER loading into your savegame?
