error with the no item decrease cheat

I also get an error with the same cheat. I used this cheat to keep my materials when i upgrade equipment (armor, weapon, rings etc.) at the blacksmith. Worked fine before the 1.12 update, But now a lv.0 copy of the equipment is added (or beeing kept) in my inventory when i upgrade it. The problem is when i try to sell the extra copy, the game freezes for 5 sec and crashes. It feels like the copy beeing made is corrupted and breaks the game when you try to get rid of it from your inventory.

I'm glad it isn't just me having this issue. It seems like the game doesn't like it when you turn the cheat on, then off to sell/move anything. I have no idea how the cheat works mechanically (I'm not a programmer) but if it is making 'copies' of the items which are somehow corrupt, that might be why.

Can confirm, as of the 1.12.01 update the issue still exists. Once the cheat is activated and you pick anything up or use it to save crafting materials, arrows, food etc. it doesn't matter if you turn the cheat off or even close Plitch down, the game still crashes if you try to sell or move those items. It seems like the cheat is 'corrupting' anything used or acquired whilst activated.

yeah ur right and also now the items in inventory also duplicate when i choose the item for use like armor or weapon

Yeah I've just had that happen to me when upgrading a new cloak I got. I had 5 or 6 copies of certain gear, not just the one I refined; some gloves and the chest armour I was wearing at the time. No idea why some gear got duplicated and not others. I only upgraded the one cloak item.

I exited the game, re-launched and was able to sell all the duplicates with no crashes, but have found that just quitting to main menu or reloading a save doesn't help, only a full restart.
