Game closes
I have had this happen multiple time to where the item multiplier is active which does work, but when you pick up a coin with it active the game kicks you out, so far i have noticed it only does it when picking up coins, played for hour no issues until that, any help you able to give would be great. Thank you.

Also, do you play the game via Steam or MS Store and did you ensure to select the correct version (Steam/ MS Store) in PLITCH?

I am playing through steam, and yes i believe theyre called star coins, its the ones that pop out of the nightthorns, i also have the plitch set for the latest version for steam, i originally thought i was playing on a older version but it was the last one updated on 6/5 so should be the current version.

Please try to verify your game files in Steam. To do this, right-click the game in your Steam Library → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
