Well it partly works. Just for NPC's shooting you. Not with anything else like fall damage or Explosives, Invading players can still kill you by shooting you as well.

Godmode only works as long as the damage you take does not exceed your max health.

I think it may not work now.  I turned it on and let a AI sit there and shoot me with a 98k and he whittled down my health bar then killed me after about 6  shots.

the game received an update and the new version is already available.
Did you restart the trainer and use the updated version?
Are you playing via Steam or Msstore? Dx12 or Vulkan?
