I can't make it work

As explained previously, I can't seem to understand how this works. The red hint says you have to move your mouse over the unit and then activate the cheat. I redefined as F1 prepare, F2 indestructible, F3 godmode. I move the mouse over the tiny (the main unit). I press F1 then F2 and/or F3. The cheat is activated (I hear the sound),  but the unit still takes damage and dies.
What do I do wrong?

Never mind, I think I figured out. The issue was that the unit must be active. Also, when you activate on another unit, it actually deactivates first, so you have to do it twice.
