Hi! Did you make sure you're running both PLITCH and the game as an administrator? What platform are you playing on?

For some reason it's working only after you press the prepare for cheat button you have to wait for the money to increase or decrease and then press the increase money cheat.

Hi! Yes, that is common behaviour with Money cheats. Some games have to register the currency/resource at least once for it to become cheatable. I'm glad it's working now for you!
