money/resource cheats dont work

all the money/resource cheats do not work. The Octagon sign turns green when I click the prepare button, but nothing happens when I click any of the cheats after that

Hi TreAce! The game received an update and we've released the updated trainer version today. Could you please try if the cheats are working again for you?

Hi, I am now no longer able to prepare for the activation, the button is greyed out and doesnt react to the hot key. I launched both programs as admin and tried it with steam offline too.

running steam with admin rights solved the greyed-out problem, however I still cant activate any of the resource/money cheats..

Did you make sure to use the correct cheats for the game mode you're playing? Cheats that are named "XY (my team)" are only effective in the My team mode and the "XY (career)" cheats are only usable in the career mode. 

Did you make sure you had at least 1 of the resource you wanted to cheat and earned/spent some of the resources before and after trying to activate the cheat?

I'm alittle late to the party but does anyone know how to fix this issue.  I'm running the game on origin right now and can activate the cheats but none of the resource/money cheats work.  The hotkeys do not do anything nor does the overlay app.  It just turns red after I click on them.  All of the other cheats work except the ones with the octogon.

Were you able to activate the prepare?
Did you gain/spend some money before and after activating the money cheats (while prepare is active)?
