Did you activate the prepare after loading into your savegame?

Either after I load in or at the main screen, everything else works fine. Just noticed that the camera scroll speed is changed rather than the player speed.

You're right about the cheat. It increases the camera speed in rts mode. Although it works fine in wasd control mode.
I added it to the to-do list.
