Prestige option causes game to crash

Is there a guide to go with the trainer? I've tried multiple ways/times to use the prestige option, but every time I do I get a 'cx_Freeze: Python error in main script' error and game crashes. What am I doing wrong?

Did you gain/spend prestige before activating the cheat?

I've tried activating:
At main menu before launching game
From staging before purchasing anything
From staging after purchased items (met with a small amount of success- the value didn't change, still crashed)
From inside the match while fighting
With and without the infinite command pts in all the stages above.

I do not have any workshop items and the game is at the most updated version. This is the error coming from the log files that seems to crash the game:

ERR 2020-12-29 17:34:23,228                       uoc2-exe:24   TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for +=: 'NoneType' and 'int'

Please don't post all the crash reports... I believe you that your game keeps crashing.
We'll take another look at the command points.

No worries - the crash report only has engine info for the developers, does not help us really haha ;)

Good day! Using Steam and Prestige option kept crashing the game. The command point appears to be not working. I activated the options during allocation of points and it crashed out. Please advise and thanks!
