The code itself works but it seems like the actual talent cost is applied after reloading the save.  This causes me to go negative and forever remain at 0, and thus completely prevents me from getting more talent points unless I excessively grind back to positive, and I can't even use the code again because I don't have at least 1 talent point.

Small clarification, this happens after relaunching the game, not the save.

Felt like doing some more testing and I can confirm that it's going negative and not simply stuck at 0.
Rachel starts with 836 tp, turned the code on and bought 900 worth of talent points, relaunched the game and grinded exactly 84 points, Rachel now has 20 tp.
