Trainer stability? not sure if others are getting this issue
Hello,
I am wondering if it's just me or if others are seeing this issue. No matter how I try and time launching the trainer, I get a crash 9 out of 10 times while trying to activate it.
I have tried different combinations, ensuring Plitch is run as administrator and also have tried launching ONI first, but not matter what I do the game crashes and speaks about a black hole error.
Verified game integrity, have all mods removed completely, not subscribed to any and started a new world.
I can still enjoy the game without the trainer of course, but am really trying to figure out if there is something else I can try.
I always play a bit like 3-4 minutes, open the priorities panel and ensure the game isn't paused, I will hear the system fan rise just before the trainer attempts to activate and then it crashes.
I'll be more diligent with checking back here for messages too :o) thanks Plitch team for all the support to date with this game.

Thank you, I own all the DLC except for the new Aquatic Pack DLC that was released recently.
Funny thing, I can run the trainer one time on a new game file, but after I run the trainer on a game, it will crash no matter what.
The cheat I used was the Massive Items, and I used that on the box that contains the starting food item (those survival bars that a new player starts with), and I used it on that box. I didn't use the endless calories, because in one game that ended up giving me a 8,000,000+ calories for my base and it was way too much.
Happy to share my save file if you want to replicate the issue, which is pretty easy to do.
I'm happy to start a new game and not use that cheat on that item. I think there might be a rule around which containers should have the "massive" items cheat enabled.
I'll try that just to see if putting food in a regular storage container vs. the starting container prevents the issue, as I suspect it would help.
I think this might have been why in a previous thread, I was hoping for a configurable set of "massive items" - e.g. add in kg as well as "tons" and then be able to select the amount to inject into the game.
Let me know if you need anything from me, but I want to play the game, and actually I have a very old world that I haven't played in a while, I will try that file and see if it crashes and come back to this thread.

Confirmed that I tried one more time, and that game file will not allow me to enable the trainer, it's okay, take your time, and happy to send the progression of save files from pre-cheat to post cheat or a saved game, whatever helps with diagnosis.
