Update to 2.1.2 - Catan Universe

The game has been updated to 2.1.2
The ressource cheats work in the trade as suggested. But the ressource cards can't be used. It's like you don't have the cards all though they are visible in game. Just for info, not playing the game a lot ;-)

The last update was 46 days ago... are you playing a beta/experimental version of the game? :o

Not playing beta, that's what it says on steam anyhow. If i go under my profile ingame it says v2.1.2 - 7584336f and the version you guys have is 2.1.1😊 I think it is strange in fact. Because steam also says the last known update was to 2.1.1 not a single message about 2.1.2. I have no clue on when that update came in. I'll keep wondering.

Ahh you're right... the thing is... I didn't know there was a versionnumber in the profile settings when I added it. I just took the one from the steam news saying 2.1.1 :D

Ah okay. The problem is as described in the first message. I can add the ressource cards to my hand. But i cant use them. So it is like they are only there visuel. I don't think the game recognises i have the added cards. I can have 10 of all ressorces but still not be able to build anything

Is this working without the cheats? Because i remember not being able to place the cards... but i thought i'm just stupid and don't know how to place them.

The game is about collecting the ressource cards on the ressource hexes (the cards on board). When you get a ressource card you get it on your hand. So let's take the example you want to build a road. These can be build in between the hexes. You need a wood and a clay to build a road. So when you have that at your hand you can click on the map where you want to build the road. This you can only do if you have a the wood and clay card at hand.

This all works fine without the cheats. When you then take the cheats in to consideration. You can use the wood and the clay cheat and get 10 of each on hand. They are visible. But you can't use them. It is like they are not registred. So now you have 11 of each on hand, but you can still only build 1 road when you should be able to build 11 roads do you follow? 😅 So it is like the game visually accepts the cheats, but the underlying game does not accept that you can use them. I don't know if this helped at all😅

Just to info, when you take a look at it again, the game has updated to 2.2.0😊
