XP not registering being added

The code activates and it says that the xp has been added and level has been raised, however when going to level up a skill of any kind it will say there is not enough XP.

Can you send me your savegame?
You should be able to find it here
%APPDATA%\Sega\YakuzaKiwami\
and can upload it (for example) on wetransfer, generate a link and post it in the forum

I figured it out. You just have to level up for the added xp and levels to register.

i used the xp code useing the newest veriosn its not leting me use the pionts

Did you gain xp BEFORE and AFTER activating the cheat?
Are you playing via steam or msstore and did you make sure to select the right version (steam/msstore) in the trainer?
