Severed Steel – Nothing is forbidden
In the video game Severed Steel you'll confront the evil EdenSys company, which is responsible for the accident that cost the main protagonist Steel her arm. Her thirst for revenge leads her to help anyone who suffers from the company's tyranny and bring EdenSys to its knees. The lack of Steel's arm creates a gameplay mechanic that is somewhat atypical for FPS, because when reloading is not possible, the only chance to defend yourself is to shoot your enemies' weapons out of their hands to take them. Besides this mechanic, Severed Steel offers other fun elements like the completely destructible voxel environment, which you can push to its limits with Steel's arm cannon. The protagonist's incredible mobility is also skillfully showcased: Not only does it make you move faster; your enemies will have a harder time hitting you if you once again run along the wall, jump over their heads or slide across the floor while bullets whiz past you.
