But that's the thing, if there's an "alternative" to the default, what is the difference?  Is it purely coding, or is there an actual difference in how the mode is presented in the game?

For example, Duke Nukem 3D had a number of cheat codes.  The "God Mode" actually had 2 possibilities:
DNKROZ
DNKORNHOLIO
Functionally, both did the exact same thing, it was just a different way to get there.

So the question stands: What is the difference between the original "God Mode" and the optional "alternative" and if there is no difference, why include it at all?

Just coding thing... we had and still have some problems with the godmode in mass effect 2... so we added 2 for this game if one is making some problems.
The alternative one is just a pointer so you probably have to reactivate it after each cutscene oder loading screen (not like the other one which stays activated)
