Anno 1404 not working

it will launch the game but the prepare doesn't work. I have tried restarting both plitch and game, launching gmae then plitch, and vice versa. Anyone else have this problem.

Are you playing the venedig dlc or just regular anno 1404 ? The version with ADDON is for Venedig, the other is the regular one.

Are you playing the venedig dlc or just regular anno 1404 ? The version with ADDON is for Venedig, the other is the regular one.

OK I got it to work. It is very confusing and not obvious. You have to lauch the game from plink. It has to be the correct one that you have installed. Then go into the game and start a sceanrio, then go back and forth between plink and the game assigning cheat keys for each cheat. Once you have loaded up on as much gold and/or honor as you want then you can save the game. Close Anno, close Plink. Re-strat the game normal and your loaded up gold/honot will still be there. Some simple basic instructions would have gone a long way here.

Ehm... what?
All you have to do is gain/spend some honour/gold before and after activating the cheat 🤔
