Anti-Cheat disable results in game closing out

As soon as  I click the Anti-Cheat disable my Deathloop is just quitting. I've tried disabling before the main menu, at the menu, and once my savegame has fully loaded. All result in the game just quitting. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
