Boss stats go negative when levelling up

I always assume, I am messing up when I have an issue but when using the trainer to increase the stats of my boss and henchmen, everytime my boss levels up, his stats drop to negative levels. All the henchmen's stats stay as they should. Could you tell me what I am doing wrong?

That's quite normal and a problem of lots of games. The stats reset once you level up.
