can't activate cheats

I've been playing Catan Universe for a while' but for the last few weeks I can't activate the cheats at all. I've allowed premission throught the security in the properties menu and throught my firewall, re-installed the app and stiil I just can't press the cheats button. The button is green but the cheats wont start. do you know how to solve it?
