i saw older posts of this same thing, but the game was last updated 7/26. is there any updates coming or is this just a bug?

the game will start and so will the trainer, but the prepare cheats option doesnt work at all

i should also add that that it is on the 2.3.4 (latest version)

Did you launch Plitch and Steam with adminrights?
Is your numpad turned on?

plitch and steam are both started with admin rights after a fresh restart, my numpad is definitely on i double checked. is there anything else i can check?
