Did you start the game manually via steam instead of using the play button?
Did you select the Forces of Corruption Version in the trainer?
Did you spend money before and after activating the cheat?

yes i started the game manually
i selected the forces of corruption trainer
i didn't spend money before activating the cheat

Are you using mods?
Were you able to activate the cheat but it didn't seem to have a function?

Good morning, i've got the same problem. 
I'm using the Expanded Fall of the Republic mod.
It worked fine before but since the new update from EAW it doesn't anymore.
