Crashes in Chapter 4

also I do not know much about coding but I cannot use the equip menu. gives me this error

thank you for reporting the issue. Which exact cheat did you use that cause the game to crash?

Also, please try to launch PLITCH and Steam as administrator. To do this, right-click the desktop icons and select "run as administrator". Then launch the game via the PLAY button in PLITCH and activate the Prepare after fully loading your save file. 

I tried using the unlimited HP and only activated in battle. I have made sure to have PLITCH and Steam as administrator and it still crashes. The crash occurs after i first meet Gerson.
