Please ensure to select the correct version (Steam) in the PLITCH dropdown menu.

Please also try to start both PLITCH and Steam with explicit administrator rights. To do this, right-click on their desktop icons and select "run as administrator". Then launch the game via the "PLAY" button in PLITCH and activate all of the cheats after fully loading in your savegame. Let me know if this worked for you´. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your reply but its still not working. when i press prepare nothing happens. it just shows the red exclamation mark next to the button.

Sorry, just to be sure, you bought the game on Steam and are playing it without any additional mods, right? 

In the meantime you can try performing a clean installation of the PLITCH client using the "Uninstall PLITCH" .exe file. You can find it by right-clicking the PLITCH desktop icon, selecting "Open file location," and looking for a file named "unins000". Use this file to uninstall PLITCH, then restart your PC. After that, download and reinstall it using the setup from our website: https://www.plitch.com/en/downloadsoftware. Once reinstalled, please try launching the client following the usual steps. bought it from steam and no mods, it used to work. I don't know what changed, but it still doesn't work. all the other games work fine.
