thank you for reporting the issue. Did you make sure to launch Plitch and Steam as administrators? To do this, right-click on the desktop icon or the .exe file and select 'Run as administrator'.

Have you verified your gamefiles in Steam? You can do this by right-clicking on the game in your Steam library -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Files.
