Are you playing via steam or msstore and did you make sure to select the right version (steam/msstore) in the trainer?
Were you able to activate the cheats but they didn't seem to have a function?
Are you using mods?

Is the amount high enough? The cheat says 1 resource ingame is 10000 in the trainer
Are you using mods?

I tried using numbers between 1-15.
I used the trainer without any mods.

1-15 is not enough... if you want +1 resource you need to type in 10000...
