Please make sure to launch PLITCH and Steam as administrator. You can do this by right-clicking on their desktop icons and selecting "run as administrator". Then launch the game via the "PLAY" button in PLITCH, load your singleplayer savegame and try to activate the Prepare. Open up your map before trying to use the XP cheat and close and reopen your map to see a change in the value.
