stats code not working for me

I load in > save > activate prepares > used strength code > save (crashes sometimes here) > load > no stats chaanes appear

i have got it to work but you have to adjust 1 point at at time the save reload and repeat. cumbersome but works

Stat code doesn't work for me even when i tried only adjusting 1 point.

Not working for me either, I have about a dozen mods enabled, through Vortex, all working without Mod Manager so that is not installed.
I have tried the following:
Start game, adjust Custom Char stats all at once, try to save game, crashes
Start game, save game, adjust Custom Char stats all at once, try to save game, crashes
Start game, adjust Custom Char 1 in each block, try to save game, crashes
Start game, adjust Custom Char by 1 in 1 stat only, try to save game, crashes
Repeated each of the above steps after starting game, saving at once, then trying to adjust stats, same outcome.
Repeated each of the 8 steps above for Shadowheart and got same results, no stats, just crashes.
Thoughts?

Tried it your way and Astarion stays at 13 strength. The mods page goes grey after selecting compainion

I've had no issues using the code, except when getting lazy and trying to do too many stats at once, which has caused 3 crashes, but other than that, just followed the function guidelines and it's worked
So, loaded my game > prepared the stats > save > modified normally 3 different stats to get them each to 30 (crashes happened a couple of times when I tried a fourth) > save > load > new stats are there.
Same worked when doing it for Halsin and Gale, just added in the select them in Plitch before the first save.
Haven't done any others yet because I ran out of game time last night.

i have it working properly now . new save adjust stats on your char new save then load new save. for your companions select companion in trainer new save adjust stats new save and the load save. trick is new save every time and you can only do on char at a time
