Can't Activate "Prepare for Cheats"

I can't seem to get Prepare for Cheats to activate. I've made sure to disable Battle eye. I'm playing only in singleplayer. I thought maybe since this is the first game i've messed with thats on a different drive that was the issue so I had steam move it to my C: drive and its still doing it. Any ideas or suggestions on what I'm missing would be greatly appreciated! 

For notes on everything I've tried:
I confirmed Battle Eye is disabled (since it pops up in the new launcher its a checkmark)
I confirmed I'm in single player
Tried changing key binds as well as manually clicking prepare for cheats
Tried playing the game for a bit to see if plitch needed time to gather assets 
Tried moving drives as well as an unintall/reinstall of Conan Exiles
Tried launching both from Steam and Plitch
Tried selecting uninstall Battle eye to see if that would do anything. 


Any ideas or suggestions or if you have an idea on my fatal flaw is with activating plitch please let me know!

Hey Bugsaway! Thanks for the info on what you've already tried. Did you also make sure you're running both PLITCH and the game as an administrator?

Hey Bugsaway! Thanks for the info on what you've already tried. Did you also make sure you're running both PLITCH and the game as an administrator?

I hadn't thought to try that sorry. It worked without issue once running both the funcon launcher and Plitch as Admin. Thanks so much for your help!
