thank you for reporting the issue. Are you playing the game via Steam or MS Store and did you ensure to select the correct version (Steam/ MS Store) in PLITCH?
Also, please make sure to run PLITCH and the platform (Steam/ MS Store) as administrator. To do this, right-click the desktop icons and select "run as administrator". After that launch the game via the "PLAY" button in PLITCH, load in your savegame and try to activate the Prepare.
