Projectiles don't need god mode after they explode

The game gets slower and slower as projectiles from certain units and buildings pile up, and may eventually crash the game. A ball of plasma, or a rocket or a time bomb doesn't need to sit there on the map after its exploded.

Have you checked your gamefiles for errors?
Are you using mods?

This same problem happens in age of empires 1 and 2, where projectiles pile up as the game counts them as a unit that needs to be given invulnerability...

Do the projectiles disappear when disabling the godmode?
